Can I go to Key West one day and come back another?
Round trip tickets may be used on different days. You may stay in Key West as long as you like, simply indicate date of departure and return at time of reservation. We also offer several hotel options, please ask your reservationist for details.
What is the fee if I change or cancel my reservation?
The change fee if you do not use your ticket is a $25.00 fee. Most tickets are non-refundable if you decide not to travel but are valid for one year and may be used for another trip.
How long is the trip to/from Key West
Time of travel from port to port is approximately 3.5 hours in each direction. Weather & marine conditions or other unforeseen circumstances influence duration of travel
May I bring a bicycle to Key West aboard the Ferry, is there a charge?
Non-motorized bicycles may be taken aboard with you to Key West. Please provide your own tie downs since bicycles are stored outside the passenger cabin, on the open deck.
Bicycles are limited in size to a standard, single passenger bike. The charge for a bicycle is $17.00 one way, $34.00 round trip and space is limited so reserve at time of reservation.
You may carry on two small pieces of luggage. If you can carry it on an airplane you can carry it on our ship. Oversize luggage is charged $10.00 per piece
May I bring my dog aboard, how much does it cost?
Yes, we have limited space for pets on board ship. Please reserve space for your pet when you make your reservation. All pets must be transported in an approved kennel or container which you provide. There is a $15.00 charge each way for your pet.
How early do I need to check in for my trip?
Ticketing and boarding starts promptly one hour prior to scheduled departure with last call for all passengers to be aboard 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure.
Is there parking available and is there a charge?
Our Fort Myers and Marco Island locations offer plenty of uncovered parking at your own risk. The charge for parking in Ft Myers is only $8.00 per day. At our Marco Island location we are able to offer free parking for our guests.
Where does the Ferry land in Key West and are there taxi's available to take me downtown?
In Key West the Ferry docks at City Bight (i/o Flagler) Ferry Terminal - Historic Seaport. There is transportation available to downtown but it is just a short walk if you prefer.
Is there transportation between the Ft Myers Airport and the ship?

Is the ship handicapped accessible, may I bring an electric scooter
aboard?
The ship is handicapped accessible to the area of
the main deck. Our crew is ready and able to assist you if needed. There
aren't elevators to the upper decks so access to these areas is limited
if you are not mobile. You may bring a standard sized, single person
riding fixture aboard.
Can we take a motorcycle or car to Key West?
Regretfully the Key West Express is a passenger vessel and does not have facilities to carry motorized vehicles such as cars or motorcycles.
